Every shaft closing job follows the same systematic 5-step process — from preparation to final fire mortar application. A tested, documented methodology using CBRI certified Ameetuff materials that creates a verified fire-rated seal.
A shaft sealed without proper preparation does not hold its fire rating. Reinforcement, mesh backing, mineral wool, and primer are all required before mortar is applied.
We photograph every step and provide full tested system documentation — including UL listing references (Armacell) and CBRI certification records (Ameetuff) — on every job.
